The Lady Cougar Varsity Basketball team hosted the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles this afternoon. The Golden Eagles made eight 3's and utilized an aggressive halfcourt defense on their way to a 45-30 victory. On the bright side, the Cougars were 11 of 14 from the charity stripe and had 6 different players score, with Abbey Malet and Lexi Kerkhof leading the Cougars with 9 and 8 points respectively. Ella Harvath led the Golden Eagles with 10 points. The Lady Cougars are back in action on Tuesday night as the Richmond Red Devils come to town. The JV game begins at 6:00, with the Varsity to follow at approximately 7:30.
