The Lady Cougars JV Basketball team hosted New Palestine tonight in a girls/boys doubleheader. With some great play by Abbey Malet, the Cougars tied the score at 14 - 14 midway through the 2nd quarter. However, the rest of the evening belonged to the Lady Dragons who walked away with the victory. Abbey Malet led the Cougars in score with 10 points in the two quarters she played. Renasia Walker was another bright spot for the Lady Cougars with her hustle, effort, and never-give-up attitude. The Dragons were led in scoring by Brylie Kirstein who scoreed 22 points, which included six 3-pointers. The Lady Cougar Varsity Basketball team is in action tomorrow night at New Palestine in a Girls/Boys Doubleheader. Tip-off is at 6:00 with the Varsity Boys playing immediately afterwards.
