Greenfield-Central put together a complete team performance, but it was senior standout Juliann Jones who stole the spotlight with a dominant all-around day to lead the Cougars. Jones delivered three first-place finishes, showing her versatility and explosiveness across multiple events. She opened by winning the 100-meter dash in 13.00, then returned to capture the 200-meter dash in 27.23. She later stepped up in the 400-meter dash, where she again crossed the line first in 1:02.14, completing an impressive sprint sweep. As if that wasn’t enough, Jones also showcased her athleticism in the field events, soaring to another title in the long jump with a mark of 16-8.75. Her four-event winning performance gave Greenfield-Central a major boost and set the tone for the entire meet. While Jones led the way, the Cougars’ depth was on full display throughout the competition. In distance events, Kamryn Smith claimed the 3200-meter run title in 12:53.63, while teammates Mia Brinkruff and Alexis Kerkhof completed a Greenfield-Central sweep of the top three. Kendall Barrett added runner-up finishes in both the 800 and 1600, while Addison Gordon and Taylor Cooksey provided key scoring behind her. Greenfield-Central also dominated the relays, winning both the 4x400-meter relay and 4x800-meter relay, highlighting the team’s balance across sprint and distance disciplines. In the field events, the Cougars continued piling up points. Hadley Hill won the shot put and finished second in the discus, while Evelyn Schini captured the discus title and placed second in the shot put. In the jumps, Abbey Mallet won the high jump, while Greenfield-Central vaulters scored heavily in the pole vault with Aspen Wiswell, Zoey Bauer, and Gwenyth Mies all finishing in the top five. From sprints to throws to distance races, Greenfield-Central’s team strength was evident all meet long.
