The Cougars (93.66 points) finished 3rd out of 6 in the Noblesville Invitational with Harrison (122.33) and Mt. Vernon (121) finishing 1st and 2nd respectively. The highlight of the night was the 400 in which Garrett Jack became the first Cougar to ever break 50 seconds in the 400! Jack's time of 49.91 beats Jordin Jones's school record from last year of 50.08. Everett Bishop finished 2nd in the race with a time of 50.64 which was also a PR for him. The two combined with Braylon Mumaugh, and Ian Erwin to finish runner up in the 4x400 with a season best time of 3:26.00. The Cougars were leading most of the way with the Marauders close on their heels. Unfortunately, Marauder anchor, Caden Cassada, passed the Cougar anchor, Bishop, at the line to win the event in 3:25.98. Mumaugh also had a great night. He finished 1st in the 1600 with a lifetime best time of 4:19.00 (just 2 seconds shy of the school record), and 4th in the 800 in a lifetime best time of 1:56.98. Also finishing first was Bryce Cotterman in the 3200 (9:51.62), and Von Quigley in the discus (173'8"). Quigley finished 2nd in the shot put (48'3"), and Cotterman finished 6th in the 1600 (4:34.99). Memphis Blevens finished 3rd in both the shot and discus with throws of 47'3" and 155'8". The discus throw was a lifetime best for Blevens. Liam Taylor finished 2nd in the pole vault clearing 13'0". Jack Wait finished 5th in the 3200 with a season best time of 10:01.00. The 4x100 team of Jaxon Conaway, Gavin Smith, Baron Linder, and Ian Erwin finished 5th in a time of 45.13. In the 100, there was a three way time for 6th with two Cougars (Garrett Jack and Ian Erwin), and a Harrison sprinter. All 3 ran 11.43. Also running PR's that were not previously mentioned were Michael Peterson in the 1600 (4:48.78), and Hunter Wiswell in the 800 (2:06.66).
