The Greenfield-Central boys' golf team traveled to the Albany Golf Club recently to compete in the Delta Invitational, navigating a competitive field and crisp conditions to secure an 8th-place finish. Under the bright, cool, and sunny skies of a perfect spring day, the Cougars faced off against a total of 11 Teams. The Albany course provided a rigorous test of skill. The standout performance of the day came from sophomore Everett Beaver. Showing poise beyond his years, Beaver carded an impressive 84. His performance was good enough to place him in a tie for 13th overall in the individual standings. Beaver's ability to scramble and maintain focus in a crowded field of 55 players provided the spark the Cougars needed to stay competitive in the team hunt.
