Golf (Boys Varsity) Scores

It was a tough day on the links for the Greenfield-Central boys golf team at The Players Club, as the Cougars struggled to find their rhythm at the Hoosier Heritage Conference (HHC) Tournament. Greenfield-Central finished at the bottom of the team standings, posting a disappointing team score of 381. The Cougars found themselves chasing the pace early and ultimately finished well behind tournament champion Pendleton Heights. The Arabians put on a clinic, capturing the conference title with an impressive team score of 309—72 strokes ahead of Greenfield-Central. While the result wasn't what the Cougars had hoped for heading into the weekend, the grueling conference tournament at a demanding venue like The Players Club serves as a crucial learning experience as the team shifts its focus to the postseason. With sectionals right around the corner, Greenfield-Central will look to shake off the tough conference outing.
