women's soccer ⚽️ JV COUGARS EARN 1–0 WIN AT PENDLETON HEIGHTS! 💙 The Greenfield-Central JV Cougars came ready to battle in a physical matchup at Pendleton Heights. Despite the late start and the heat, the Cougars controlled much of the play, spending long stretches in the PHHS half and creating several quality chances. Just before the water break, Sophia Engeln worked the ball to the goal line and pulled a perfect pass back into the box. Maureen Richards stepped up and delivered a beautiful finish from about 15 yards, lifting the ball over the goalkeeper and into the net! 🔥⚽️ That goal proved to be the difference. The Cougars stayed organized and strong defensively through the remainder of the match to secure the 1–0 victory! Great effort, Cougars! Back in action tomorrow night at home vs Westfield.
