Lady Cougars defeat Columbus East Varsity vs Columbus East High School (8 - 2) The Cougars continue play great defense and last night they frustrated the Olympians with diving catches and an error free effort. Kristen Wineinger had a team high 4 rbi's on a 3-run homer and a sac fly, Josie White scored twice, Savvanna Riall continues her torrid place at the plate going 2 for 3, scored a run and drove in 2, increasing her season total to13. Charlotte Riehle went 3 for 4, with a double and 2 rbi's, Abby Capen went 2 for 4 with a run scored. Addi Heacox threw a complete game in the circle, giving up 10 hits, 2 Runs, 2ER 4 K's and 1BB for her 2nd win of the season. Next up Franklin Community Friday night at home.
