GC Varsity pulled out a 3-2 conference win over New Castle in an intense and competitive match that came down to the wire. Kate Gilkison came out strong at #1 singles, setting the tone with a solid 6-2, 6-3 victory. At #3 singles, Tanessa O’Neal dominated her match with a commanding 6-0, 6-2 win. The match was clinched by the #2 doubles team of Lauren Page and Lucy Stewart, who battled back from a set down to earn a thrilling 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 comeback victory. On the JV side, GC came out on top with a convincing 8-3 win, showing great depth and effort across all courts. Excellent work from both teams—way to compete and finish strong!
