Lady Cougars got their 2nd conference win 14-1 over New Castle Varsity vs New Castle High School. The Cougars scored in every inning but the 3rd for a run rule victory. The offense was led by Kristen Wineinger going 4 for 4, a double, 4 runs scored and drove in 2, Charlotte Riehle went 3 for 3, a double, a pair of 2 run home runs, walked intentionally, scored 3 runs and drove in 5, Josie White was 2 for 4, a triple, scored twice and had 1 rbi, Abby Capen was 1 for 1 with and rbi. Allison Hornaday, Tovaria Smith, Addi Herrin and Leilanie Forshey each had a hit in a13 attack. The team had a season high 10 stolen bases. Ailea Dowdy started and got the win in the circle going 3 innings allowing 0 hits 1 K, Tovaria Smith went 2 innings allowing 1 hit, a run, 0 earned runs 4 K's, Addi Heacox went 1 inning allowing 0 hits and 1K.
