Lady Cougars defeat Delta 16-3 Varsity vs Delta High School. Delta jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 1st and the lady cougars answered with 10 and never looked back. Savvanna Riall had her team leading 6th homer in the 1st a 2-run shot, Josie White add her own 2 run homer in the 4th, a triple in the 1st, going 3 for 4 scoring 4 times and 5 rbi's, Riall went 3 for 3, in addition to her home run she added a double, scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Kristen Wineinger drove in 2 with single, Charlotte Riehle was 1 for 2, a double, a run scored and a rbi, Leilani Forshey was 1 for 2 scored twice and had a 1 rbi, Tovaria Smith was 1 for 1 with a rbi, Avery Daniels was 1 for 1 scored 3 runs and had a rbi. Ailea Dowdy got the win in the circle going 2 innings allowing 2 hits and 1 earned run 4 K's. Addi Heacox went 2 innings allowing 2 runs none earned and 1 k, Christine Heckley logged her 1st varsity appearance getting a quick 3 outs on just 7 pitches to finish out the victory. We are back in action Monday at Triton Central.
