Lady Cougars walk off Arabians Varsity vs Pendleton Heights High School 4-3. Trailing 3-0 going to the bottom of the 7th and only managing 3 hits the Lady Cougars put together 6 hits and 4 runs to take the HHC conference game at Pendleton. The win gives the Cougars a 4-2 record in the conference. Josie White was 3 for 4, Kristen Wineinger was 2 for 4 and had the game winning rbi, Allison Hornaday, Addi Herrin, Leilani Forshey all had singles in the 7th Abby Capen added a double helping fuel the comeback. Herrin had a rbi and Forshey had a huge single driving in 2. Addi Heacox went 7 innings allowing 8 hits, 3 earned runs and 1 K to record the win in the circle. The Cougars are back in action Thursday at Lawrence Central.
