Cross Country places 7th at the Columbus North Rick Weinheimer Classic

The Greenfield-Central women's cross country team placed seventh overall and seventh in the AA Division at the Columbus North Rick Weinheimer Classic at CERAland Park on Saturday. Forty-eight teams competed in the two divisions, twenty-three of which competed in the AA (large school) division. Twelve Cougar harriers ran season or personal best times. Mia Brinkuff bettered her school record to 18:34.0, placing 7th/6th overall. Josie Kinnaman placed 17th/15th in a season best time of 19:02. Adalyn Cole (54th/45th/20:20 - SB), Kendall Barrett (80th/65th/20:50 - SB), and Kamryn Smith (91st/72nd/21:07 - PR) rounded out the scoring for GC. The top 5 average of 19:58.84 also set a school record. Taylor Cooksey (106th/81st/21:23 - PR), Harper Rahe (167th/120th/22:47 - SB), Cerenity Minchin (216th/146th/23:42 - PR), Addison Gordon (226th/150th/23:50), and Ashlyn Devlin (241st/158th/24:15 - SB) also competed in the varsity race. Aspen Wiswell (60th/24:16 - PR), Paige Coughenour (94th/26:28 - PR), Lily Gordon (100th/27:34), Kaiden Frischkorn (118th/30:52 - SB), and Annabelle Seats (131st/35:23) competed in the reserve race.
